It's because they're astroturf. They're probably getting paid to attend the rally (even though they likely do believe what they've been paid to spread) so when the rally is over they just drop their trash and go home.

Hey, they said this event was about creating jobs. Does anybody doubt that we will have to hire people to clean up this mess?

I don't doubt the video, my only question is that they seem to be in different areas, the first one along the grassy side of the plaza, less people sitting, more traffic. The second looked like it was right up front where the action is. How much difference would you see if both videos were of the same areas?
