SNL: Harry Reid Asks Obama To Show Birth Certificate

I've seen much funnier, but it's SNL taking a shot at Obama, so I had to put it up.

Is it just me or does SNL just totally suck now? It definitely needs new writers.

Not just you, talent is down, writing is down and they no longer have a "target rich environment" to satire since they really don't like to take the shots at the left they did at the right. The Quayle/Bush slams for intellect could easily be matched with Biden slams but they have done little I have seen.

Its a shame, SNL was a formative influence when I was growing up. Monday morning at school we all talked about what they had done the Saturday before. No longer, now it is who smacked/screwed who on Jersey Shore. So sad.

SNL is pathetic. So bad it's sad. Think of the classic sketches that you remember if you've watched since 1975 - Belushi doing Joe Cocker, Land Shark, Mrs. Luebner gets a new Norge, Samuai skits, wild and crazy guys, Bass o Matic, Buckwheat's been shot, living in a van by the river, etc. Very little politics and current events, just creative comedy.

Belushi from the Olympia calf..
" No grilled cheese, cheeseburger, cheesebuger, cheeseburger, no coke, pepsi."

That was real comedy in that day and time and now i agree with Herb, SNL has gone
the way of the dinosaur...When they begain to mix comedy to make it PC, they lost it....
